The jack nut threaded insert is a great solution to installing threads into those problem thin, soft, or brittle materials such as plastic, wood products ceramics and glass. When tightened, the body of the insert collapses to form four legs which grip the inside of the mounting surface, leaving a permanent, reusable threaded insert. Jack nuts are also ideal for installing a strong captive steel thread into materials where the hole is too large for the thread you wish to use.
Scaffolding jack nut are screwed to the scaffolding jack base, to adjust the height of the scaffolding and help to keep balance. With various size, its compressive strength is from 100KN to 250KN,stronger than the jack base .
